A Dollar A Day is a 6-part documentary series about people living in poverty. The series shows how lack of access lays at the basis of poverty the world around. Lack of access to Capital, Markets or Jobs or to Healthcare, Good Governance or Basic Needs.

The series was accompanied by a book under the same title and was launched as part of a public awareness campaign with theatre screenings, town hall meetings and discussions. A short version of each episode is used in high-schools in The Netherlands as part of the Geography curriculum. The series is recognised for its truthfulness by The World Bank and for sale at it’s info shop.

Michael Douglas was so kind to do the promo for the series that has reached people in over 10 countries and territories including the Arab World.
